²⁹ And Moses said to Hobab the son of ^(A)Reuel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law, “We are setting out for the place of which the Lord said, ^(B)‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will do good to you, for ^(C)the Lord has promised good to Israel.”

¹⁶ And the descendants of the ^(A)Kenite, Moses' father-in-law, went up with the people of Judah ^(B)from the city of palms into the wilderness of Judah, which lies in the Negeb near ^(C)Arad, ^(D)and they went and settled with the people.

¹¹ Now Heber ^(A)the Kenite had separated from the Kenites, the descendants of ^(B)Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far away as the oak in ^(C)Zaanannim, which is near Kedesh.
